3 spontaneous performances

Rolf Rolls Langhans  from Germany and Risa Takita  from Japan  for the first time will perform together.

Rolf Rolls will prepare a tea and Risa Takita will dance to the sounds of making the tea.

The spontaneous performance will happen three times in three  following  evenings and three different spaces.

Every space is different and imposes a different solution, every performance is then a unique and pure experience.

The performance doesn’t tell a story.  There is no elaborated choreography. Instead there is a ‘total presence’. Acting images as a way of being in the moment A sequence of moments, where something is dying and something new is born.  A specific state of unity of body and mind, similar to conscious dreaming. The artists try to find a new crossing of time, crossing a border, crossing the edge.

The image is in the mind of the participant.

Rolf Rolls and Risa gave the title to their performance: AHMEN BE DIN GUN GEN

They say it's about the cycle of death and life, life which ends with death, death which is a condition of a rebirth.

Making the tea is a metaphor of it. Death is the moment when the tea is ready, the new beginning is when the viewers drink it. The body of the dancer will explore the space, by finding out its mystery the artist arrives to a place, where one knows the value of life and grasps the mystery of death.
